We do street outreach to homeless people who live outside, building supportive relationships with those we already know and those we meet each week. We assist people with necessities for living outside and with doing the next right thing to end their homelessness. This includes helping people access medical, mental health and substance abuse treatment; supportive housing; disability benefits; and veterans services. We visit people in the hospital, jail and rehab facilities. We are a member of Partners Ending Homelessness and we also partner with others who serve and interact with homeless people, including the Interactive Resource Center, 16 Cents Ministry, Church Under the Bridge, the City of Greensboro and the Greensboro Police Department. It’s an honor and privilege for us to serve homeless people who live outside in Greensboro and we are constantly grateful to be where God is at work in the lives of our friends.
